Big Sky Falling
I’m excited to announce that my first book, Big Sky Falling, came out with Ronsdale Press in November of 2021. In it I write about moving from my family home in Grande Prairie, Alberta to Vancouver. Questions of wildness are important in this book, as is the sense of wonder and hope that comes from nature (whether found in Alberta fields or city parks). I also write about my depression, and my attempts to befriend rather than beat it. Birds are watched, ghosts converse, crows knock, and trees get naked in this collection.
