Hi, I’m Kelsey.

I write poetry about killing flies, dreaming of seals, naming depression and picking blackberries. I write fiction that happens in little slices, whether characters are selling hospital beds or discovering they’re being cheated on at birthday parties. Small things are important to me, as is writing about both physical place and internal weather. I try to notice beautiful, and funny, and difficult things (which are often the same) and live my life searching for ways to write it all down.
